Made in the USA, Quickies are constructed of a glass-filled nylon composite. This UV protected material is highly impact resistant, and also resistant to heat, cold and corrosion.
Available in 3/8" and 1/4" sizes. Pre-assembled with 8" or 12" of low stretch and highly U.V. resistant braided polypropylene rope. This is easily replaced when frayed OR with any length at any time, making them totally customizable.
Specifications
- Lightweight yet durable construction: 3/8" - ONLY 374g, 1/4" - ONLY 168g
- Outer block casing, pulley wheel and pawl (release trigger) is extruded from glass filled nylon
- Hooks are zinc plated steel wire with black vinyl coating: 3/8"is #141 -5/6" dia., 1/4" is # 86 -1/4" dia.
- Torsion springs are stainless steel wire: 3/8"is .04" , 1/4" is .03"
- Rope is low stretch and highly UV resistant, made of 12 braid polypropylene (black)
- Screws are industrial grade, black phosphate coated with zinc
- Rivets are C-1006, AKFG, CHG wire, SAIP, zinc phosphate plated
Operation
- Attach rope hook to secure object
- Release required length of rope and attach Quickie hook to load or firm support. For Maximum pull, hooks and block should be in line with direction of pull
- Tighten by pulling loose end of rope until tightly secure. It works best to always pull in the same direction as the pulley block
- To release, pull on loose end of rope to ease tension in locking mechanism WHILE pressing release trigger. DO NOT pry the trigger! When operated properly trigger should always be easily deployed
To Change Rope: Remove existing rope. Depress release trigger and, following the direction of feed arrow imprinted on pulley block, thread rope in bottom of block. Use finger to rotate pulley wheel and pull rope back out bottom of block.

Quickie Tie-Down Enterprises, Inc. warrants its products to be free of defects in composite materials or workmanship. Warranty is limited to replacement of defective unit only. Warranty does not cover worn or frayed rope and rubber coating on hooks or damage caused by misuse, abuse, or use contrary to Quickie Tie-Down Enterprises, Inc. specifications and instructions.
The use and attachment of this product is beyond the control of Quickie Tie-Down Enterprises, Inc. The liability of this product is limited to the replacement cost of this product should it be found defective in material and/or workmanship.

Never exceed working load limit (displayed on Quickie block)!
- Inspect unit before each use. Do not use if any signs of damage, deformation, or alterations are present.
- Rope should not be used if abrasions, cuts, tears, burns, knots, or alterations are present.
- Always protect rope from sharp or abrasive surfaces.
- Hardware must be pulled in a straight line or strength will be reduced.
- This Tie-Down assembly is not designed for lifting, towing or personal restraint.
